Listening to Sting's Songs from the labyrinth album in the very early morning hours. Quite affecting with the winds outside dropping the temps below freezing outside, thoughts of the nature tooth in claw images neighbors had recently posted and Yogi climbing on top of me to lay and get petted. The bare bones lute and voice soundtrack to my surroundings led to a deep and sobering experience of how dangerous it all is, the ever-present struggle that lays beneath everything in life. And at the same time, a beautifully rich experience of the comforts that cover it all and gratitude that Yogi and I are experiencing a life filled with love and peace and calm and abundance.
