Perspective

One of the greatest comforts I find is the certainty that a struggle can be overcome, while hell is uncertainty that it can. My existence seems easier because I wholeheartedly believe in our power to create and overcome obstacles, even death. Even making immortality free from pain and sorrow. Yet I also see a lot of us walking around in our own hell and projecting that into the public sphere. I'm not sure why I focus attention on them so much as it sometimes blocks my view of the shining city I am free to see beyond.
