There was a fog present here all day, very fitting for Halloween.
When I was very young, for some reason I had the impression Halloween was the start of a new year. I found out years later that Wiccan and Celtic cultures have honored the day this way. Not sure why I had initially treated the day as such, but I must say it is somewhat fascinating to have that unexplainable assumption tied in with a day that is celebrated for the physical and logical worlds' close proximity to the unexplained.
