Listening to Bob Seger and gaining a greater appreciation for how his celebration of the good things always acknowledges an awareness of how transitory they can be and how they are both earned and were helped along by fortune, timing and the help of others. And an awareness of how all the pleasures , as everything, are fleeting. Even those moments preserved in song must obey timing.
