What I love most year after year about Oscar Sunday is the exciting juxtapositions created by the best picture nominees.........this year was no exception, plenty of great movies and even more, great contrasts and connections...........1970's LA young love, illusion among carnies pre-world war II, Arrakis 10191.....this level of contrasts can be found elsewhere but Oscar night has always been a portal for me and I just never really tire of the visions fellow humans have and how we find commonality through their distinctions
