I still see LGBT community standing on the appeal to nature fallacy, (this is how a person is designed and therefore it is ok). It unnecessarily bows to their critics' subjective opinions and treats liberty as subordinate. Whether one is designed one way or another is secondary to their freedom to act as they wish while still respecting the liberties of all others. Using the appeal to nature fallacy in regards to sexual orientation is not a solid foundation and it puts liberty in general in very uncomfortable spot.
